  • EPIC Urges NTIA to Back Data Minimization, Address Wide Range of Harms to Minors Online

    As children and teens continue spend so much of their lives online in recreational, social and educational settings, it has become clear that existing laws and regulations do not sufficiently protect minors from online harms. In the face of emerging risks from AI and other technologies, EPIC recommended that the NTIA center safeguards like data minimization or a ban on targeted advertising to minors in any of its future recommendations.
