ABA AI Essentials for Lawyers: What You Need to Know to Protect Your Clients in the Digital Age

EPIC Executive Director Alan Butler will be participating in the ABA Section of Civil Rights and Social Justice’s Webinar series on March 27th. Alan will be speaking at the “AI Essentials For Lawyers: What You Need To Know To Protect Your Clients In The Digital Age” panel at 2pm ET.

Alan will be joined on the panel by Michele Estrin Gilman and Masheika Allgood, and the panel will be moderated by Rubin Roy.

Panel Description: Join us for a presentation and moderated panel discussion about the importance of artificial intelligence in law. This introductory webinar will explore the basics of AI, contextualize related definitions as they pertain to the law, and discuss the impact of AI on marginalized communities. After conducting a brief survey of concerns AI raises, we will engage in a panel conversation with leading attorneys working at the forefront of AI and law. At the end of the webinar, attendees will leave with a better understanding of how to protect clients’ information and interests as the digital age progresses.
