SAE International: Opening Keynote Panel – What does AI Mean to Mobility – Looking to the Future

EPIC Senior Counsel and head of EPIC’s AI and Human Rights Project Ben Winters will be participating in SAE International’s Government/Industry Meeting on January 18th. Ben will be speaking at the opening keynote panel: What does AI Mean to Mobility – Looking to the Future.

Scope: Narrow artificial Intelligence in the form of machine learning is already having a meaningful impact on how goods and people move in this country.  This panel will explore the working definition of narrow AI as applied to all types of road mobility options over the next 3 years, the risk and benefits of its use, anticipated impacts to safety and equity, and of course questions from the audience.
