Jake Wiener

Jake Wiener is EPIC Counsel and leads EPIC’s work on state and local policing, immigrants’ privacy, digital identity, and prisoner privacy in the Project on Surveillance Oversight. He lives in Charlottesville, VA. Jake is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law where he was the Editor-in-Chief of the Virginia Journal of Law and Technology. While in school Jake interned at EPIC and worked in the UVA Environmental Law Clinic. He holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Duke University. Jake Wiener is a member of the District of Columbia Bar, the Virginia Bar, and the Colorado Bar.
