Kara Williams

EPIC Law Fellow

Kara Williams is an EPIC Law Fellow focusing on state privacy policy. She graduated magna cum laude from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law with a graduate certificate in Information Privacy Law and Policy. During law school, she interned at EPIC and the Electronic Frontier Foundation and externed for Chief Justice Loretta H. Rush of the Indiana Supreme Court and Magistrate Judge Mark J. Dinsmore of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. She also served as a Dean’s Writing Fellow for legal research and writing courses, a student affiliate of IU’s Center for Applied Cybersecurity Research, and a managing editor of the Indiana Journal of Law & Social Equality. She holds B.A.s in journalism and in sociology from Indiana University. She is a member of the District of Columbia Bar.
