The Daily Collegian: Supreme Court clears way for Trump administration to deploy ‘expansive’ voter database ahead of midterms

“Several legal challenges were filed following the release of the updated SAVE database and its use for searching the citizenship status of voters, including a lawsuit from the Electronic Privacy Information Center and affiliates of the League of Women Voters which alleges the Trump administration had unlawfully compiled sensitive information into SAVE and set up the data system as a potential tool for voter suppression.”
