Boston Bar Association: Privacy Law in Massachusetts: the Massachusetts Data Privacy Act and Beyond

EPIC Deputy Director Caitriona Fitzgerald will speak on a panel at the Boston Bar Association’s annual Privacy, Cybersecurity & Digital Law Conference. The panel, titled “Privacy Law in Massachusetts: the Massachusetts Data Privacy Act and Beyond,” will also feature Andrew Kingman from the State Privacy and Security Coalition and Kevin Angle, Senior Counsel, Holland & Knight LLP. It will be moderated by John Weaver, Chair, Artificial Intelligence Practice, McLane Middleton.

The panel will discuss the Massachusetts Data Privacy Act bill recently passed in the Senate and pending in the House—what it says, its prospects and what comes next.
