National Association of Attorneys General’s Annual Conference: Behind the Price Tag: Giving Consumers Clarity in the Data-Driven Pricing Ecosystem

At 9:05 a.m. on April 15, EPIC Counsel Tom McBrien will speak on a panel titled “Behind the Price Tag: Giving Consumers Clarity in the Data-Driven Pricing Ecosystem” at the National Association of Attorneys General’s Annual Conference in Charleston, South Carolina.

The panel will cover how data-driven pricing is reshaping the marketplace in ways most consumers never actually see. The session is designed to offer a clear, accessible overview of the data-driven pricing ecosystem and examine how tools such as dynamic and algorithmic pricing impact consumers’ wallets, choices, and trust, as well as business competition.

Panelists will also discuss recent federal and state attorney general actions aimed at boosting transparency, strengthening disclosures, and addressing potentially deceptive or unfair pricing tactics.
