St. Louis Public Radio: Two St. Charles County police departments on the verge of launching new drone response

“Jeramie Scott, director of surveillance oversight and senior counsel at the Electronic Privacy Information Center, said the transparency should extend to the tools with which the drones are equipped. Police departments, he said, can easily add devices like license plate readers, facial recognition or cell site simulators to the drones.”
